Jamming GPS is a growing problem, especially for  commercial aircraft. They use an inertial navigation system as backup, but its reliability is unsatisfactory.

In contrast, quantum GPS sensors promise precision beyond anything possible using classical technology.

Australian startup Q-CTRL has developed a GPS system that provides 50 times better performance compared to current state-of-the-art devices.

The quantum sensor’s sensitivity can pinpoint locations with high accuracy, but it is very susceptible to interference from electromagnetic radiation.

To solve this problem, Q-CTRL combines their hardware with specialized machine learning software.
